How to use Desi Subtitles

Generate your subtitles

  1. 1Upload your audio file (mp3, m4a, wav, and more).
    2Pick the subtitle language — Hinglish, Hindi, or English.
    3Optionally set max characters per line and lines per cue.
    4Tap Generate Subtitles, review the cues, then Export .SRT.

Apply the .srt in your editor

Follow the steps below, or watch a short walkthrough for each app.

Adobe Premiere Pro

  1. 1Open your sequence, then go to File → Import (or Cmd/Ctrl+I).
  2. 2Select your .srt file — it appears in the Project panel.
  3. 3Drag it onto the timeline and choose Subtitle when prompted.
  4. 4Style captions in the Text panel if you want a custom look.

DaVinci Resolve

  1. 1Switch to the Edit page and open the Media Pool.
  2. 2Go to File → Import → Subtitle (or drag the .srt into the pool).
  3. 3Right-click the timeline header and choose Add Subtitle Track.
  4. 4Drag the subtitle clip onto that track, then style it in Inspector.

Final Cut Pro

  1. 1Open your project in the timeline.
  2. 2Choose File → Import → Captions.
  3. 3Select your .srt file and set the caption role / language.
  4. 4Captions appear in a lane above the storyline — nudge to sync if needed.

CapCut (mobile)

  1. 1Open your project and tap Text in the bottom toolbar.
  2. 2Look for Import Captions / Import SRT (wording varies by version).
  3. 3Choose the .srt file from your phone (Files / Downloads).
  4. 4Edit style and position, then export — captions burn into the video.
